Volpi develops and manufactures symmetrical and asymmetrical fiberoptic miniature ringlights. The units will be utilized as illumination components attached to single use disposable medical instruments. Volpi is also developing a dedicated assembly line to ensure high quantity automated production.
A Laryngoscope was equipped with 1/10“chip and integrated fiberoptic ring illumination. The video image from the chip will be transferred to the computer monitor via USB interface.
High Power LED Plug-In Unit
A high power LED plug-in unit is currently in development for an existing medical light source. The main goal is to replace the existing metal halide solution by innovative and modern LED technology. The change-over to LED technology increases performance by 20%.
Ductoscope System
Ductoscopy is a special procedure for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. This method of diagnosis allows for the early detection of cancer in the mammary duct and an immediately performed biopsy.
